Understanding that young men face similar challenges, Tonya expanded her vision by creating the M.A.P.S Mentorship Program (Men with Ambition, Purpose, and Strength).
This program was designed to help young men:
Build discipline and accountability
Develop leadership and purpose
Strengthen emotional awareness
Prepare for future success
What She Has Accomplished:
Successfully implemented the program at Hamilton Middle School
Served youth consistently for over a year
Created structured 10-week mentorship sessions
Developed both school-based and community programs
Established scholarship opportunities for students
Built partnerships within the school district
